Middle Eastern Spinach Man'ousheh/Pizza


  • Flat Pita/Arabic bread
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Onion - thinly sliced
  • Baby spinach leaves OR regular spinach coursely chopped
  • Sumac powder
  • Salt/Pepper 

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Place bread on flat surface and spread a thin layer of olive oil.
  3. Pile on the spinach (you need to use around 2-3 cups of spinach per bread piece since it will cook down) 
  4. Add thinly sliced onions, sumac, salt, pepper, lemon juice and some more olive oil
  5. Bake on a wire rack for around 13 mins (between 12-14 mins).
  6. Enjoy it as a pizza, or fold it in half like a traditional man'ousheh sandwich! 


Healthy Sweet Potato Fries


  • Sweet potatoes (1 per person)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or Infused Chili Oil) 
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Chili Powder
  • Red Chili Pepper Flakes

Method (serves 2):
  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Wash, peel, & cut potoes into thin strips 
  3. Place in bowl, and add around 2 tablespoons of olive oil and spices/seasoning
  4. Spread onto a flat baking sheet
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 mins (flipping/shaking the fries half way through)
  6. Enjoy!
